The Governance Forum is designed for
members of boards of directors (and boards of trustees or boards of
advisors), as a vehicle for improving the performance and effectiveness
of individual directors and boards as a whole. This three-day Forum is
a comprehensive program that assists individuals in assessing their key
knowledge, skills and abilities, and forming a plan for their own
development, and the development of their board.

knowledge, skills, and abilities, identifying strengths and weaknesses,
and preparing development plans.
- Introducing governance principles and
tools for post-forum application in participants’ own boards
of directors, trustees, and/or advisors.
- Practicing governance through real-world
case studies, vignettes, director interviews, and other experiential
- Providing resources for post-forum
learning and application.
- Networking with Governance Forum and
other Center alumni for ongoing learning and development opportunities.
The fee for the Governance Forum is
$2,500. The fee covers tuition, case materials, meals and
lodging. Nonprofit organizations receive a 20%
discount. Individuals and small or early stage organizations
interested in attending an Anderson Center forum, with limited ability
to pay, should inquire about scholarship opportunities.
